Key Responsibilities- Program Implementation: Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our youth, including STEAM, mentoring, athletics, literacy, and activities.
- Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all program participants while in care, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Community Engagement: Encourage participation in clubhouse community events and promote membership in the Clubhouse through programs, services, and outreach activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work in conjunction with volunteers, tutors, and students to participate in an ongoing education improvement program, and offer input regarding department programs in partnership with the approval of the Program Manager.
- Maintenance and Operations: Observe and report any maintenance and operation concerns of the department's physical property, ensuring Club member safety at all times.
- Education and Experience: A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2500 hours of experience working with children, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Google Suite, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and tolerate environmental conditions such as air conditioning, heat, dust, fumes, noise, and close quarters.
- Certifications and Clearances: Must complete a health physical and TB test, obtain clearances for Act 33, Act 34, Act 151, and NSOR letter, and obtain Mandated Reporter Certification within 45 days of hire.
