Job Overview:

The Aviation Officer, designated as a First Officer, plays a crucial role in the operation of flights in compliance with aviation regulations. Reporting directly to the Base Lead Pilot and the Captain, the First Officer is responsible for assisting in the safe execution of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in flight preparation and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Support the Captain in fulfilling safety responsibilities during all phases of flight.
  • Be prepared to take command of the aircraft if the Pilot in Command becomes incapacitated.
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies, FAA regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Base Lead Pilot or Chief Pilot.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to relocate to the designated area.
  • Possession of or eligibility for a BeechJet 400 certification.
  • Unrestricted FAA ATP certificate is required.
  • Minimum flight experience: 1500 hours total time, with 250 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
  • Must hold a First Class Medical Certificate and maintain its privileges.
  • Valid US Passport is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Capability to work both day and night shifts.
  • Travel may be required for training or operational assignments.

Reporting Structure:

The Aviation Officer reports to the Base Lead Pilot, Chief Pilot, and Director of Operations.
