Healthcare Activities Coordinator

Overview
We are looking for a motivated and organized Healthcare Activities Coordinator to join our team at Athena Health Care Systems. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement activity programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on resident participation and progress.
- Serve as a liaison between residents, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure effective communication.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that fosters respect, empathy, and understanding among all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field.
- Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification within six months of employment.
- Minimum one year of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with Alzheimer's and dementia residents.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
