Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Bush Veterinary Neurology. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in veterinary technology and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
  • Assist neurologists with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the veterinary team
  • Collaborate with other veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Current and active Veterinary Technician License in Virginia or eligibility for licensure
  • At least two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or one year as a Veterinary Assistant
  • Extensive experience with anesthesia, venipuncture, and catheters
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
