We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller, SD. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide education to residents and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document resident interactions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and staff.
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
