About the Role

Aureus Medical Group - Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a travel therapist. This 11-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic SNF setting and contribute to the well-being of patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments, create individualized care plans, and provide therapy sessions to meet the needs of each patient.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a SNF setting; LTC experience highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Net Health documentation system essential.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated weekly payment for this role ranges from $1926 to $2046, with a taxable income of approximately $680 to $800. Additionally, a non-taxable stipend of around $1246 may be provided, subject to eligibility and seasonal adjustments.
