About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Automation Lead to join our team at IPL, a leading global provider of sustainable packaging solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and setting up all automation within our plant, including robotics, stacking equipment, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor automated systems to identify and troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Create operating instructions for automation machinery to ensure efficient and safe operation.
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure timely repairs.
  • Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Certifications or degrees in electrical controls, such as PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Previous manufacturing experience, preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Positive and professional attitude and demeanor.
  • Ability to learn quickly and with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve during troubleshooting situations.
  • Above average attendance.
  • Required training, including Forklift, Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, Qualified Electrical, First Aid/CPR, Fire Extinguisher, and Hazardous Communication.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to work overtime as needed. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.
