Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Cynet Health. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and flexible environment, providing high-quality patient care in a variety of ICU settings.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a strong background in ICU nursing, with experience in managing critically ill patients. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage and coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and respiratory therapy.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Float to other ICU units as needed, including Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Trauma ICU, and Neuro ICU.
- 2+ years of ICU experience.
- Valid nursing license required upon submission.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABG) and manage critically ill patients.
- Proficiency in arterial line and central line management, as well as continuous IV sedation.
- Experience with BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patient management.
- Weekly pay range: $2088 to $2320.
- 36 hours per week guaranteed.
- Up to 5 days off (RTO) allowed, with no more than 2 consecutive days.
- Completion of 24 hours of orientation.
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with proof provided one week prior to start date.
