Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Cynet Health. As a travel ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
* Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

* Current RN licensure in the state of practice
* Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
* ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
* Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend

Unit Details:

* 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
* Common diagnoses include heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and vented patients

Team Structure:

* Charge nurse on each shift, administrative support 24/7, and crisis nurse available 24/7
* 1 CNA per shift, hospitalist on site 24/7, and intensivist available via telehealth 24/7

Equipment:

* Vents, high flow, and bipap
* RNs required to read strips, Spacelabs used

Schedule and Floating:

* Shifts scheduled by unit scheduler, can be blocked or grouped
* May float to tele or other ICUs with a ratio of up to 1:3

Dress Code:

* Any clean and professional color

Orientation:

* 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation depending on experience

*This position requires compliance with a 50-mile radius rule regarding the candidate's permanent address.*
