Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and integrate advanced vehicle technologies into PACCAR’s product lineup.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from multiple sources to address customer and business demands.
  • Create functional controls for sophisticated vehicle systems and software capabilities.
  • Facilitate software integration through the V-Model approach in product development.
  • Collaborate with international teams to deliver standardized, cost-effective solutions across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is mandatory; EIT certification and a Master's degree in a relevant field are preferred.
  • 0-1 years of pertinent experience is essential; experience with heavy/medium-duty trucks or passenger vehicles is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ISO26262 and ASPICE standards is preferred.
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to review engineering specifications are necessary.
  • Understanding of the design, development, and validation processes for automotive technologies is required.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
