Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient Inspection Specialist with a solid background in the maintenance of industrial and manufacturing machinery. Our facility prioritizes safety and cleanliness, and we seek a candidate whose professional values align with these principles. This role will leverage inspection expertise to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our plant processes while minimizing operational costs. Responsibilities include executing assigned tasks according to established plans, identifying deviations, and suggesting areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain all inspection apparatus, including electrical measurement systems, optical vision systems, and laser sensors.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for all inspection machinery.
  • Implement error-proofing measures and execute Gage R&R processes.
  • Perform system checks and initiate restarts as necessary.
  • Ensure the operational readiness of all inspection equipment throughout the facility.
  • Monitor and operate Remote Operating Systems (ROS).
  • Oversee real-time inspection data analysis and reporting for any equipment issues.
  • Engage in continuous monitoring of inspection results.
  • Lead and participate in maintenance improvement initiatives.
  • Assess new and replacement electronic and electrical components.
  • Manage inventory levels of vision equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Complete all necessary documentation through a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Align and calibrate machinery and equipment for optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational Certificate or Associate's Degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, functions, and data visualization.
  • Experience with mechanical systems, vision systems, and image analysis is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
