Job Summary:

    As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our customers. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1.     Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, taking into account potential interactions and contraindications.
  2.     Counsel patients on medication use, including proper dosage, side effects, and potential interactions.
  3.     Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, medications prescribed, and any adverse reactions.
  4.     Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  5.     Collaborate with healthcare providers and other members of the care team to coordinate patient care.

Education and Experience:

  •     Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  •     Pharmacy license by job entry date.
  •     Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
