Role Summary:
The Voter Education Project is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to serve as Political Phone Texters. In this role, you will be integral to our outreach initiatives, connecting with potential voters and supporters through targeted text messaging campaigns. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our political objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute outbound text messaging campaigns aimed at engaging potential voters and supporters.
2. Foster conversations to inform, persuade, and mobilize individuals in support of our initiatives.
3. Uphold a clear and effective communication style while following campaign messaging protocols.
4. Deliver accurate and timely information regarding the campaign, its objectives, and events.
5. Maintain comprehensive records of interactions and feedback from contacts.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outreach goals and objectives.
7. Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to remain informed on campaign strategies and messaging.
8. Exhibit a strong grasp of the political landscape and relevant issues.
Qualifications:
1. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
2. Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build rapport swiftly.
3. A genuine interest in and understanding of political issues and campaigns.
4. Proficient in utilizing text messaging platforms and technology.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on accurately documenting information.
6. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
7. Adaptability to shifting priorities and campaign strategies.
8. Previous experience in political outreach, canvassing, or phone banking is advantageous.
Compensation:
$22 per hour
