Operations Director

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our hospitals. Reporting to the Hospital Manager, this individual will oversee various operational areas, including Customer Experience, Inventory Management, Facilities and Maintenance, Reception, Scribe Program, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of Customer Experience Coordinators, Inventory Coordinators, and Scribes
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure new hires understand hospital procedures and guidelines
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement
- Manage HR-related issues, including disciplinary action when necessary
- Organize monthly team meetings and ensure effective communication among team members
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, restocking, and reconciliations
- Develop and manage inventory budgets in conjunction with the Inventory Coordinator
- Assist with community marketing events and support the Hospital Manager in planning and coordinating these events
- High School diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field preferred
- 2+ years of leadership experience; 5+ years of experience in a hospital environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with people from diverse backgrounds
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis
