Job Summary

Arthur G Russell Company is a world leader in engineered-to-order custom assembly machinery. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of our innovative machines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in machine design and assembly. They will be responsible for generating finished machine designs from general concepts, using good judgment and investigation to create robust and effective equipment.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will work closely with our design team to develop solutions to design problems, collaborate with subject matter expert coworkers, and perform all necessary engineering calculations. They will also produce 3D CAD assemblies and part models, select application-appropriate materials and components, and create detailed drawings and Bills of Materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 7-10 years of engineering experience, preferably in machine design or a related field
  • Proficient in MS Office software and 3D CAD skills, including SolidWorks

Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration
  • Typical work hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel for installation, training, and service work
