Job Summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to provide administrative support to our project management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects, from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination
    • Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCOs) to ensure timely and accurate updates.
    • Price up material vouchers and maintain accurate records.
    • Write and track Request for Information (RFIs) to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
    • Manage certified payroll for Rosendin and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Update project schedules on Microsoft Projects or SureTrack, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Prepare and submit monthly billing, including Schedule of Values and Cover sheets.
    • Create and maintain material flow sheets, including fixtures, fire alarm devices, and subcontractor logs.
    • Obtain quotes from vendors and perform light material ordering as needed.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide general administrative support to the project management team, including filing, data entry, and other tasks as assigned.
    • Assist with preparing and distributing project-related documents, such as meeting minutes and reports.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with project stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and clients.
    • Communicate project updates and changes to relevant parties, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
      • Bachelor's degree preferred.
      • Minimum 1-2 years of project management support experience, preferably in a construction environment.
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Projects or SureTrack, preferred.
