Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Diagnosis: Perform comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Treatment Planning: Create and execute individualized treatment plans and IEPs to address the unique needs of each student.
- Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in one-on-one or group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote effective communication.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress and ensure seamless communication.
- Progress Documentation: Accurately document student progress and participate in IEP meetings to ensure informed decision-making.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certification: ASHA CCC-SLP certification and Missouri state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date.
- Experience: Previous school-based experience is preferred, but not required.
