Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Support Specialist to join our team at All Medical Personnel. As a Clinical Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer telephones, route calls, and take accurate phone messages
Prepare and administer medications/immunizations to patients as directed by the provider
Communicate significant changes in patient conditions or behavior to clinicians and physicians
Ensure all medical records/patient charts contain necessary documentation for medical appointments
Complete charting, collect, and distribute medical record documents related to patient care
Gather data for general information, special reports, and contacting other employees, departments, agencies, and individuals for additional material
Prepare reports for provider approval
Maintain/prepare billing charge and reconciliation, assist in completing claims forms, and answer patient questions in reference to payment status
Run reports for credit cards, super bills, and etc.
Prepare final bookkeeping of assigned cash drawer and prepare and make timely deposits
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and patient rooms
Operate and maintain equipment in proper working condition/order
Ensure medical supplies and inventory are maintained
Perform and document vital signs and measurements
Provide and document patient and family education
Assist physician with simple procedures and patient transport
Collect specimens and distribute to laboratory for results
Prepare for patient visits by preparing/pulling charts, printing super bills, and informing physician and other clinical staff of changes in schedule
Schedules appointments, diagnostic, therapeutic, verifies medical appointments, obtains and/or verify authorizations
Processes medical documentation for office visit and follow-up with patient when required
Serves as receptionist, conducts patient check-in, registration, collects fee for service/copayments, and verifies referrals, insurance data, patient s address & other pertinent information

Requirements:
High School education or equivalent preferred
Fluency in both English and Spanish highly preferred
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
Basic computer and math skills
Excellent patient management, customer service, and interpersonal skills
1-2 years of physician office experience preferred
1-2 years of experience coordinating clinical care for patients preferred
Transcribes letters and memoranda per physician or leader request
Assists in clinical research as directed by medical staff
Assists physician(s) with on-call and call backs when needed or as directed by physician
If applicable, maintains all samples labeled and out of boxes as soon as they arrive
