Job Description:

This position is responsible for delivering and recording radiation therapy treatments to patients. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist to ensure accurate delivery of radiation and maintain precise records in the electronic medical record system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and record radiation therapy treatments with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record system.
  • Provide clinical instruction to newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist in maintaining the patient appointment schedule and ensure correct billing information.
  • Cut blocks and create custom molds as required for radiation therapy treatments.
  • Complete simple MU calculations with precision.
  • Interpret computerized treatment plans accurately.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT certification is required.
  • Must hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
