Position Overview
The Custodial Technician is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the facility during the evening shift.

Role Responsibilities

Medline Industries, LP stands as the premier nationwide distributor of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical supplies to healthcare facilities, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home care settings. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Custodial Technician for the evening shift.

KEY DUTIES:
  • Ensure daily cleanliness of the warehouse, utilizing industrial sweepers and scrubbers to maintain dust-free floors.
  • Collect and dispose of waste from the facility into designated dumpsters or compactors. Clean large trash receptacles as necessary.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of shelving units, walls, staircases, doors, and waste management equipment.
  • Compact excess cardboard materials using the baler.
  • Assemble boxes and assist with dock operations as required.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime and support various areas within the facility.
  • Capability to work independently in a diverse environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to and exceeding 75 lbs. Tasks may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, and other physical activities.
