Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Lansdowne, PA. The successful candidate will work with an elementary caseload, providing school-based speech and language therapy under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify areas of need.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy programs based on treatment plans, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Document student progress and collaborate with the supervising SLP to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy materials and resources to support student learning.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLPA license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with SLPs and other educational professionals.
