Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, programming, and refining software systems, applications, and tools, including both current and future projects.

  • Monitoring help desk inquiries periodically and collaborating with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
  • Organizing and maintaining comprehensive documentation of application development and subsequent updates to ensure clarity for future users.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of robust Java programming and development experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular.
  • Knowledge of the Spring Framework and RESTful services.
  • Familiarity with SQL and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with Git for version control within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong capability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Experience, Skills & Technologies:

  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
  • Understanding of best practices for developing secure web applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to use hands for operating computers and other office equipment.
  • Capability to occasionally move around the office to access files and machinery.
  • Regularly positions oneself to maintain computers in the lab, including under desks and in server areas.
