About the Role

University Hospitals invites applications for a Faculty Physicist position in the Department of Radiation Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of radiation therapy treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in research and development initiatives to improve radiation therapy techniques and technologies
  • Teach and mentor medical physics residents and students
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal radiation therapy delivery
Requirements
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including residency
  • Effective organization, written, and oral communication skills
  • Experience with specialized treatment modalities such as adaptive radiotherapy, HDR, or proton therapy is desired but not required
  • Interest in research and development is preferred but not required
