We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Wound Care Coordinator RN. As a key member of our nursing center team, you will play a vital role in leading and integrating a patient-centered approach to skin health and wound care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and integrate a fully developed Skin Health and Wound management program in collaboration with nursing center management.
  • Oversee durable medical equipment related to the prevention and management of wounds.
  • Develop and implement wound care protocols and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure comprehensive wound care.
  • Provide education and training to nursing center staff on wound care best practices.

Requirements:

  • National accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or commitment to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Strong knowledge base of acceptable standards of care for nurses, providers, therapists, dietitians, and others on the nursing center team.
  • Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management.
  • Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, PowerPoint skills.
