Position Overview: Under direct supervision, the Hardware Installer will utilize hand and power tools to install hardware in both commercial and residential settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload materials from trucks and transport them to the work site.
- Cut products to the required dimensions as necessary.
- Install components in the correct alignment and configuration.
- Ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
- Stay informed about OSHA regulations and adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory duties.
Minimum Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Less than a high school education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to perform essential duties effectively.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: The physical requirements for this role include:
- Frequent standing, using hands for various tasks, and reaching.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, or crawling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity for close and distance vision, color perception, and depth perception.
