Unicare Community Health Center is seeking a highly skilled Associate Clinical Social Worker to join our team. This role involves providing mental health and related services to underserved communities in Ontario, CA.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Associate Clinical Social Worker to provide short-term, structured psychotherapy and counseling services to patients across the lifespan. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, 2 years of experience in medical social work, and knowledge of social work professional code of ethics and values.
This position requires excellent people skills, with the ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team and provide culturally competent services to diverse patients. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to multitask, working within an ambiguous environment while driving toward clarity and solutions.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct clinical interviews to gather information and assess patient needs
- Provide short-term, structured psychotherapy and counseling services
- Coordinate treatment plans and link patients to community resources
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient activities and services provided
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- 2 years of experience in medical social work
- Knowledge of social work professional code of ethics and values
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
