Position Summary:

MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Analyst, Journeyman. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in providing support in a related field. Excellent oral/written communication and facilitation skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
  • Assemble, prepare, and analyze data for studies, statistical models, evaluations, system requirements, and other needs.
  • Use technical discretion within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions.
  • Provide technical advice and operating assistance in interpreting results while understanding network, databases, and other technology.
  • Use regulatory and reporting requirements as well as understanding forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Create detailed reports and make data analysis visual.
  • Project planning and management while facilitating communication between technicians and customers.
  • Provide functional requirements, such as system user cases, user requirements, and system activity diagram.
  • Provide non-functional requirements, such as hardware requirements, software requirements, performance requirements, security requirements, and availability requirements.

Experience:

Minimum of four years of experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field or at minimum Information Technology (IT) Certification.

Certifications:

Requires DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification IAT Level II. (Eg. CompTIA Sec+)

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
