We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Bilingual Education Assistant to join our team. As an Instructional Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing individual and small group instruction under the supervision of our experienced teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Help maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
  • Support the school's culture and expectations through student supervision and parent communication
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students in a school or educational setting
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university
    • Associate's degree from a recognized college or university
    • Completion of 48-semester units or 72 quarter units from a recognized college or university
    • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction
