Maintenance Director

Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the upkeep of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance staff, managing the department budget, and performing a variety of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, preventive maintenance, and grounds maintenance.
- Manage the department budget, including participation in establishing the annual budget and performing annual department inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and maintain accurate records of incidents and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed, and monitor vendor pricing and activity.
- Develop and maintain a written preventive maintenance program, and conduct scheduled maintenance of employer-owned automobiles.
- Oversee grounds maintenance, including snow removal and salt application, and ensure proper maintenance of lawns and landscaping.
- Coordinate set up and tear down of special events, and attend meetings, conferences, and seminars as assigned.
- Completion of secondary education.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Experience in maintenance required.
- Knowledge of OSHA-SDS sheets and procedures, fire and safety procedures, and proper care and maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
