Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant Senior to join our team at INTEGRIS Health. As a Medical Assistant Senior, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and serving as a liaison between providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, patient history, and lab work
  • Act as a mentor to new Medical Assistants and assist with their orientation and development
  • Perform venipuncture, EKG, waived testing, bone density, and X-ray procedures as assigned
  • Manage large call volumes while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
  • Organize workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner
  • Participate in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of patient care interventions
  • Participate in the orientation and skilled development of new staff as assigned
Requirements
  • Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration
  • 3 years of experience as a clinic Medical Assistant in an ambulatory setting
  • 3 years of direct customer service experience, with 3 years of telephone customer service experience preferred
  • CPR certification within 90 days of employment
  • Validation of competency in medication administration
  • Demonstration of core competencies within 90 days
