Neonatal Healthcare Specialist

TotalMed seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team in Austin, Texas. This is a 91-day assignment with a salary of $1,580.51 per week.
As a Neonatal Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care in Neonatal units. Your responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, and managing neonates, as well as collaborating with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings.
- Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
- Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
- Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
