Position Overview:
This role is situated within the Business Systems Support team focused on Investment Reporting. The primary responsibility is to leverage financial accounting expertise and project management capabilities to assess and enhance business processes and applications associated with asset data.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Extract financial and attribute data from core accounting systems to conduct thorough analyses.
2. Manage projects and initiatives related to accounting systems in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
3. Oversee the setup and maintenance of portfolio accounts across multiple platforms.
4. Conduct daily and monthly data quality assessments to ensure financial precision.
5. Determine the most effective means to present analytical findings for stakeholder use.
6. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business and analytical concepts.
7. Develop familiarity with monthly and quarterly accounting processes.
8. Collaborate with management and stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
9. Work alongside IT teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with business needs, acting as a liaison between Investment Reporting and IT.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience or experience leading project teams.
- Strong knowledge of the accounting and financial sectors, particularly in investments and insurance products.
- Experience in querying datasets to develop repeatable reporting solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.

Working Conditions:
This role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Remote employees may be required to report to a company office periodically, although the majority of work will be conducted remotely.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $88,000 to $105,000 annually, based on qualifications and operational needs. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.
