Position Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Compensation/Shift: Competitive

POSITION SUMMARY: The Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on various office and plant machinery, as well as building facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform repairs and servicing on all site machinery, structures, and furnishings.
  • Effectively communicate maintenance issues with the team through verbal and written channels.
  • Inspect and repair critical machinery.
  • Monitor cooling towers, mills, chillers, air compressors, boilers, and more.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance through thorough inspections, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proficient knowledge in pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanical systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and remain on feet for extended periods.
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of maintenance, including:
    • Mechanical: Understanding of pumps (both positive displacement and centrifugal), drives (gearbox, belt, chain, hydraulic), couplings, motors (electric and air), bearings, shafts, and fasteners.
    • Electrical: Familiarity with high voltage (460 volt 3 phase), motor controls, low voltage (120V power and control wiring), and both AC and DC systems, including computer-controlled systems.
    • Utilities: Knowledge of piping systems (water, air, steam), boiler operations, steam condensate systems, air compressor systems, and HVAC systems.
    • Vehicles: Experience with lift trucks, including electric EE rated, battery, and hydraulic systems.
