Role Overview - Program Coordinator: The Program Coordinator at COA is essential in facilitating the daily operations of the preschool. This role encompasses overseeing classroom dynamics, executing developmentally appropriate programs for children as required, and ensuring that our educational offerings comply with all company, state, and accreditation standards. As the Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining documentation, producing regular reports, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily management of the school, including oversight of classroom activities and supervision.
  • Design and implement developmentally appropriate programs for children as necessary.
  • Keep precise records and prepare reports on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, state regulations, and accreditation criteria.
  • Coordinate and manage events and activities, such as field trips and parent meetings.
  • Supervise the use of educational materials and supplies to maintain an effective learning atmosphere.
  • Act as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
  • As a Program Coordinator, you will contribute to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for children while upholding our commitment to quality education and care. Your enthusiasm and dedication to supporting children's growth and development will be pivotal in our mission to deliver exceptional programs and experiences for our students.

Qualifications:

  • Director 2 certification from MA EEC
  • Compliance with state regulations for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher
  • Fulfillment of state in-service training requirements.
  • Experience: Previous experience in childcare with management experience preferred
  • Education: Completion or pursuit of a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or a degree in Early Childhood Development or a related field.
