OBJECTIVE

As a Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service in alignment with company standards, meet personal sales targets, foster teamwork, uphold merchandising standards, and protect company assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome and engage every customer, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and exemplary customer service.
  • Stay informed about all promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Support store operations through merchandising, display upkeep, and cleanliness.
  • Assist with inventory management, including processing and restocking merchandise.
  • Implement price adjustments as required within the department.
  • Utilize a computerized point of sale system for accurate transaction processing, including payment handling, refunds, exchanges, and issuing gift certificates.
  • Reconcile daily sales and prepare financial deposits and end-of-day reports for management review.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all retail merchandise, including pricing, special considerations, and stock locations.
  • Ensure accurate processing of merchandise receipts, including inspection, tagging, stocking, and display setup. Report any damages or discrepancies to management.
  • Consistently uphold store appearance by organizing merchandise attractively and maintaining cleanliness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in retail sales.
  • Ability to read, count, and write to complete necessary documentation accurately.
  • Capability to operate equipment essential for the role, including the ability to stand, stoop, lift up to 11 kilograms, and climb ladders.
