Job Summary

The Merchandising Agile Service Team Member will play a crucial role in driving business profitability, sustainability, and growth. This position will be responsible for ensuring store layout integrity, agile space optimization, and retail organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. **Store Layout Integrity**: Ensure that store layouts are optimized for maximum efficiency and customer experience.
  2. **Agile Space Optimization**: Review and correct Plan O Grams weekly to ensure that store spaces are utilized effectively.
  3. **Retail Organization**: Perform major Plan O Gram resets and execute monthly Plan O Gram updates to maintain a well-organized retail environment.
  4. **Pricing and Signage Execution**: Verify pricing and signage execution to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. **Inventory Management**: Provide inventory transfer support and manage returns to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  6. **Local and Regional Activity**: Conduct local and regional activity reviews to stay up-to-date with competitor activity.
  7. **Merchandising Activity**: Take ownership of merchandising activity previously executed by 3rd party vendors.
  8. **Vendor Management**: Support store team's vendor management processes to ensure smooth operations.
  9. **Inventory Accuracy**: Assist with the accuracy of item-level inventory to ensure data integrity.
  10. **Model Behaviors**: Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
  11. **Compliance**: Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  12. **Additional Duties**: Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  1. **Travel Requirements**: 75% travel required.
  2. **Location**: Must live in the Midwest region of the United States.
  3. **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
  4. **Experience**: Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  5. **Marketing and Merchandising Experience**: Minimum one year marketing, merchandising, or hospitality management experience required; Pilot Flying J experience preferred.
  6. **Microsoft Office Skills**: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.
  7. **Inventory Management Experience**: Experience using an electronic inventory management system within the context of store operations.
  8. **Teamwork and Communication**: Ability to work with a diverse team, manage time and work within deadlines, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and vendors.
  9. **Travel Arrangements**: Ability to make travel arrangements and plan for work trips.
