Job Overview

">

We are seeking skilled Medical Transport Specialists to transport medical specimens within a prearranged route utilizing their personal vehicles. As a Medical Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting medical items from one location to another per customer request.

Duties and Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Drive personal vehicle to transport medical items including specimen, supplies, and sensitive and confidential documents.">
  • Scans all locations and reports to Assistant GM when locations are missing barcodes.">
  • Maintains a level of 98% or greater on location scanning on routes.">
  • Notifies Assistant GM if route times are not attainable or if customers are requesting different times than what is in NextStop.">
  • Assists with training new hires when needed.">
  • Loads and unloads medical items from vehicle and ensures specimens, medicines, equipment or documents are properly maintained and safely secured based on specific Company requirements.">
  • Delivers the applicable items to the correct destinations in a timely manner and based on routing specifications.">
  • Interacts with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.">
  • Maintains accurate and legible delivery records and obtains customer signatures where applicable.">
  • Communicates with dispatch and management when there are delays with delivers, delivery status changes, etc.">
  • Assists Assistant GMs as needed.">

  • Drives personal vehicle adhering to safety and efficiency guidelines.">
  • Must be HIPAA and OSHA compliant at all times (Training will be Provided)">
  • Has knowledge of locating customer locations utilizing a GPS or a map.">
  • Knowledge of basic math.">
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting, and executing simple instructions.">
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.">
  • Ability to manage time and complete daily tasks.">
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic, integrity, and a high level of attention to details.">
  • Command of written and spoken English">
  • Must possess valid Driver's License">
  • Reliable transportation and good driving record are a requirement.">

Estimated Salary: $19.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement

About This Role

This role requires working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accurate and legible delivery records and interacting with customers and coworkers in a courteous and professional manner.
