Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business initiatives and enhance revenue streams through cold outreach, site inspections, and networking within the local community.
- Collaborate with the director of sales and marketing to formulate and manage the departmental budget aligned with the hotel's overall sales objectives.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key group and catering clients to sustain and grow our market presence.
- Represent the hotel at relevant travel industry exhibitions and conferences, ensuring compliance with the marketing strategy and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct thorough research on local market trends and competitor actions to uncover potential business leads.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hospitality role is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years in sales management or a leadership capacity within the sales department, ideally in the hospitality sector.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
