Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD) is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach studio courses to first-year students in drawing, elements and principles of art and design, and collaboration/social practice.

About the Position:

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position in the First Year Experience Department. The successful candidate will teach studio courses to first-year students, providing instruction and guidance in drawing, elements and principles of art and design, and collaboration/social practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach studio courses to first-year students in drawing, elements and principles of art and design, and collaboration/social practice
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with CCAD's academic standards and goals
  • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to students
  • Assess student learning and progress
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and events

Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in Fine Arts or related field
  • College-level teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
