We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Grad Intern to join our team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders under the direction of a Pharmacist.
- Counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
- Maintain confidential information and controlled medication procedures as permitted by local, state, and federal laws.
- Ensure the accuracy of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and evaluate potential chemical interactions and side effects associated with the use of prescribed medications.
- Provide customer service by acknowledging the customer, identifying customer needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and promoting products and services.
- Operate equipment, such as cash registers and related tools, to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
- Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers and maintain the Pharmacy area in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors in Science, Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
