Job Overview

This role is a key individual contributor position focused on refining and executing our SEC reporting framework. The primary responsibilities include managing data collection, reviewing, and compiling information for US GAAP/SEC disclosures in Form 10-Q/K filings and other regulatory submissions. This position will also involve collaboration with Investor Relations to prepare and finalize quarterly earnings release materials. The role emphasizes continuous enhancement of financial reporting processes and quality, with significant interaction with senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements and footnotes for SEC reports, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
  • Conducting internal financial analyses for executive management, such as variance analysis, to provide insights for senior leadership.
  • Facilitating relationships with external auditors by preparing comprehensive documentation and explanations for various transaction types.
  • Supporting detailed tie-outs of financial statements and internal/external presentations used for earnings press releases and investor conferences.
  • Preparing quarter-end data and supplementary information, including the statement of cash flows.
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly earnings release documents and related materials.
  • Contributing to the preparation and review of materials for the Board of Directors.
  • Driving improvements in processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure a highly accurate, efficient, and robust reporting function. Maintaining documented work procedures and continuously evaluating to standardize procedures for enhanced efficiency.
  • Assisting in the preparation of ad-hoc requests for analyses and information.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience, including public accounting. Experience in preparing and/or reviewing financial statements and related disclosures is essential. Experience with a 'Big 4' firm is advantageous.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A commitment to taking full ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with WDesk (Workiva) SEC reporting applications is a plus.
  • CPA certification is required.
