Senior Fire Protection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at AKP Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analysis of existing fire protection systems and design new systems, including suppression systems, fire detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
  • Conduct building and fire code analysis and interpretation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day contacts with internal and external clients, utilizing experience and technology to meet expectations.
  • Develop and implement project management skills to manage internal projects and external client needs.
  • Perform research and document findings for internal and external distribution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Fire Protection Engineering License by examination issued by any state in the United States.
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in the Fire Protection profession.
  • Ability to travel (estimated 20% of the time).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
