Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Join Holy Name Medical Center as a Radiologic Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. As a member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing x-ray duties, including fluoroscopy and operating c-arms in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer x-rays using prescribed techniques.
  • Prepare rooms, equipment, solutions, and materials for patients.
  • Clean and disinfect x-ray rooms and equipment.
  • Document fluoro time and schedule cases in IDX, resolving exceptions as necessary.
  • Protect patients and staff from radiation exposure by following proper technique factors and ALARA principles.
  • Ensure images are properly oriented, identified, and marked before transmitting them to PACS.
  • Differentiate anatomical abnormalities and bring them to the attention of radiologists.
  • Compile Quality Assurance data for regulatory agency compliance.
  • Assist in making x-ray copies and performing other film library duties as needed.
  • Train new staff members and students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of x-ray technology.
  • Experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Current and valid NJ licensure.
  • CPR certification.
