About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Kitchen Manager to join our team at HAMSA COOKING INC. as a Head Chef for Summer Camps.

This is a seasonal position available from May to August, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in culinary arts, with a strong background in food safety training and large-scale cooking. They will also possess excellent leadership qualities, be able to produce large quantities of food, and delegate production effectively.

As an Executive Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day culinary operations, maintaining safe and efficient kitchen workflow, and interacting with campers and staff while maintaining an enthusiastic and welcoming attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in culinary arts
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certified
  • Previous experience in food safety training, culinary arts, and large-scale cooking
  • Ability to produce large quantities of food and delegate production effectively
  • Excellent leadership qualities
  • Valid US driver's license

Salary Estimate:$70,000 - $90,000 per year
