Production Support Manager

Job Summary
Micross Components is seeking a Production Support Manager to coordinate the effective flow of materials through our Hi-Rel Solutions work stream. This key role manages a team responsible for supporting all aspects of the planning, scheduling, and tracking of workflow from material receipt through final shipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the effective flow of materials through our Hi-Rel Solutions work stream
- Manage a team responsible for supporting all aspects of the planning, scheduling, and tracking of workflow
- Function as a liaison between all departments and effectively communicate to meet production commitments
- Have full management responsibilities for direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, and coaching
- Develop and implement strategies to meet contractual delivery requirements, overcome capacity constraints, and optimize work centers
- Manage ongoing and new programs for scheduling and coordinate expedites and other scheduling commitments with the sales organization
- Prepare and provide various reports for management, including ongoing management of WIP
- Participate actively in Production, Operations, and lean improvement projects and meetings
Requirements
- BS degree with 5+ years' experience in planning/scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Experience within the electronics segment preferred
- Or 10+ years of related experience and proven performance in a manufacturing environment may be acceptable in lieu of a degree
- Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Team attitude and exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office and ERP systems
