Cutlist/CAD Technician

Closets by Design is a leading provider of custom closets, home office furniture, and other home organizing systems. We are seeking a skilled Cutlist/CAD Technician to join our team.

• Review sales designs to ensure compliance with company product offerings and installation requirements.
• Define and resolve design questions efficiently.
• Assemble accurate cutlists using Cabinet Vision and other tools.
• Submit cutlists within company standards and efficiency requirements.
• Provide support to Pricing, Production, and Installation Departments.
• Comply with company policies and standards.
• Utilize CAD programs to support sales and production teams.

• Quality: Develop a personal quality process to ensure all required items are included in the cutlist.
• Productivity: Produce a minimum of $40,000 in jobs per day after three months of training.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek methods to improve daily output, reduce time to complete jobs, and meet customer expectations.
• Working knowledge of fractions and division.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. College training preferred.
• Familiarity with computer usage and technology.
• Drafting or design experience preferred.
• Cabinet Vision experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Typing of 40 WPM preferred.

• Intermediate or above experience with Microsoft Excel.
• CAD experience.
