Job Overview

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer with experience in power generation and hydroelectric systems. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to ensure the continued availability and efficiency of generating resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in diverse working teams involved in the design, fabrication, installation, maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of fish facilities and hydropower plants.
  • Prepare, review, and stamp calculations, drawings, reports, etc., related to mechanical systems.
  • Provide support for the evaluation, selection, procurement, installation, testing, and acceptance of project activities and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or directly related field.
  • 2 years of engineering experience in a power utility; or possession of Washington State EIT.
  • A valid WA driver's license or the ability to obtain one by time of employment.
