Role Summary

In the Aeronautical Safety Office, we deliver global aeronautical geospatial intelligence to support national security goals, including safety of navigation, international commitments, and joint military operations. This role involves preparing, compiling, publishing, distributing, and maintaining all related Aeronautical GEOINT databases, products, and services as required by U.S. law and International Treaties. The office serves as the authoritative source for worldwide aeronautical geospatial information, products, and services, supporting global naval operations and ensuring safety in air travel while managing all Aeronautical GEOINT production programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality assurance deliverables and activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust system for quality and reliability testing.
  • Formulate the Software Quality Assurance Plan for projects and ensure adherence to contract requirements.
  • Conduct independent assessments of the software development process and recommend optimizations.
  • Manage all quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Perform Quality Assurance audits and review/analyze documentation and data.
  • Establish and implement procedures and test plans to assure quality in system development environments supporting large databases and applications.

Qualifications

  • Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Proven experience in monitoring production methods and processes to maintain quality standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management system standards as per the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001.
  • Experience in ensuring that materials, components, or products meet established standards or compliance requirements.
