Position Overview

Supervisory Duties

This position is responsible for managing all personnel within the department.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands outlined here represent the requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While executing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently stands, walks, uses hands for various tasks, and reaches with arms. Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, climb, balance, or perform tasks that require bending or kneeling. The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, typically requiring 80 hours of work every two weeks, on the second shift following a 2-2-3 schedule. Overtime may be necessary depending on job requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements

  1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  2. A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience, ideally in a commercial bakery setting

Food Safety Compliance

  • Adherence to established programs and policies to ensure the production of safe, quality food that meets regulatory and company standards.
  • Support the development and maintenance of food safety and quality systems.
  • Accountability to the principles of food safety and quality in manufacturing.

Work Schedule Details
