Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Renewable Biofuels Inc. in a Quality Control Laboratory Technician role. As an Analytical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct thorough testing and analysis of in-process and final product materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of laboratory stock and inventory, requesting purchases as necessary to ensure optimal laboratory operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sample analyses, laboratory data, and equipment maintenance in accordance with laboratory guidelines.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with laboratory supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless laboratory operations and address any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum of an A.S. in Chemistry or two years of related work experience.
  • Experience: Laboratory experience, including quantitative solution preparation and operation of instrumentation such as GC, ICP, Karl Fischer, etc.
  • Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) and ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs and frequent standing.
